SK2PP170-1 is an economical polyamide peel ply offering good performance with both polyester and epoxy resin systems. It features red tracer with high visibility to minimize the risk of peel ply being left on the laminate. The material is suitable for use in resin infusion and hand lay-up processes. SK2PP170-1 is uncoated and can help reduce or eliminate the need for sanding or abrading the composite surface prior to secondary bonding. The fabric is scoured and heat set to remove most contaminants and to minimize shrinkage during processing.
